Executive Communications and Stakeholder Management

Mr. Jacky Mashapu is a seasoned and experienced senior Manager in the field of Marketing, Stakeholder Management and Communication. In his 25+ years of experience in this portfolio, he has been instrumental in the development and execution of corporate marketing communications and stakeholder management strategies to deliver on organisational plans.

Jacky has advanced strategic management capability and leadership abilities in managing communication and stakeholder programmes. These skills were demonstrated in assisting companies and government departments where he worked, in managing potential crisis communications.

 He was also bestowed with a coveted Government Communicator of the Year Award in 2008 during his tenure as Head of communications at the department of Home Affairs. This was in recognition of the sterling work he has displayed in conceptualising and implementing a social marketing campaign to mobilise young people to apply for ID’s.

He holds an honours degree in communication from the University of South Africa.
